Description

I have Software applications that I both sell and rent to customers. The rental customers require me to do monthly invoicing etc which is time consuming and causes problems interacting with those customers. I want an automated payment method so I can get away from this invoicing effort.

- The webpage is very simple because all of the real processing will be done within the local dScope applications.

- The application will generate a ProductCode which will be a string between 14 and 20 characters.

This Product code will heve embedded in it the ProductID, the PaymentAmount, the PayPalAccountID and the CurrencyID.

- I have a dll (written in Delphi) that has the following functions.....

- The AccountStr string will be the PayPal account name (Email address, eg xxx at yyy dot com )
- The Amount will be the transaction amount (eg 19.99)
- The Curr will be a string with one of three values (AU for Aust$, EU for Euros, US for $US)
- The ProdID is just an identifier and should be used as a payment code in PayPal so that I can track the transactions there.

The WebPage will allow the customer to enter the ProductCode. It will check that the ProductCode entered is valid (see Procedure CheckCodeValid procedure above). If it is not valid it will provide an error message. If the code is Valid, then extract the information out of that ProductCode (see Procedure GetPayDets above) and initiate a PayPal transaction using the extracted dets. If (AND ONLY IF) that transaction is successful, then the customer will be privided with a RegCode (see Procedure BuildOutCode above) that they will then use in the original application on their local dScope applications.

- I would like the result built using PHP as that gives me a wider range of hosting options and means I can play with the actual graphics side of the page in Dreamweaver.

- The integration with PayPal can be done using one of the integration tool kits available from the PayPal website (https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/home)

- I will want to put this page onto a couple of different websites for different products, so it should be in a form that I can redo the graphic component and then add it into different sites.

- I would like the flexibility to change the dll functionality in the future slightly, although the function calls will always remain exactly same.
