Description:	This project would require an EXPERT in OSCommerce enhancements and someone with experience creating top-notch and quality customization of an existing OSCommerce site. I would need to see samples of your work, too. This is a women's boutique clothing store site that has been going for several years, and they've outgrown their present design, since it looks very much like every OSCommerce site. I designed and have maintained the existing site, but their current goals go beyond my ability and time. They're looking for the following: 1. A new fresh and professional look (I have many photos available of the store exterior and interior). This would include customized buttons, etc. to get rid of that "stock oscommerce" look. A slick banner would also be needed that fits the store's theme. 2. Ability to feature a video clip (commercial) that could play as flash on the front page. 3. Ability to have scrolling text (I'm not fond of this, but they want it). Let's give this option a professional look. 4. Ability to have pictures of featured items fade in. 5. Ability to print shipping labels from the backend. 6. Ability to e-mail the designated shipper from website regarding status of an order. 7. Ability to mark the order "Partially filled, complete" 8. Ability to mark the order "Voided" 9. Ability to mark an order "Returned" 10. A way to highlight specials in a more prominent way 11. A field that allows us to assign an item number (could be just renaming a field that they presently don't use) 12. The ability to add categories easily by someone with limited web knowledge (me). 13. To be notified by email when someone new registers on the website. 14. Ability to use a coupon code on the website. They'd like to be able to adjust the customer's invoice by giving a % off or deducting an amount of the coupon by any amount they choose. 15. A report that gives history of each customer's purchases ($ and items) per month/per year. 16. A report that lists items sold per month and year to date (# and $). 17. Possibly several other pages like "meet the staff" and "love notes from customers." This project will require samples of similar work for our review. Decision isn't made on cost alone, but the store does have a limited budget that is lower than the top range of the GAF "medium project." There will be some feedback on the proposed design from the store owners and workers. The bidder would need to be somewhat patient with feedback, and I'll try to filter most of it as a middleman. If the bidder is knowledgeable about web promotion to get better traffic to the site, please describe that experience. Obviously, that's a plus.
