Description
I need the following system for my Joomla + Virtuemart cart.When a user signs up, his account should remain unactive.
An activation code of about 5 - 10 chars should be sent to the admin, with the username.
(Or only the username, and the admin should be able to set an activation code through the backend)
We will provide the user with the code through phone.
The user should enter the access code, and his account should be activated.
If you are considering using existing extensions for Joomla, please make sure you know that this will work out using them. As of now, I dont think an extension exists to allow this.
I will provide you with the Default install for the Joomla + virtuemart that I'm using.
You will have to provide me with the changed files, and the changes done if possible.
Once this is done, if you like, you can post your code at Joomla as an extension under your name, I have no problems.
I'd prefer if the bidder can show a demo / somehow prove that he is able to do this.

I've already implemented an account activation system based on sending the admin the activaion email details instead of the user.
Sending the account information to the admin instead of the user isn't really tough :)
As mentioned in the description, once a user signs up, 1) His account should be inactive
2) The email that is sent to the admin when a new user has signs up has to be modified, [this is not done through the joomla files, but the following files for virtuemart:
admin\com\com_vm\lang/com/eng
admin\com\com_vm\classes\ps_shopper.php
The email should have his username, and address (which is done using the $username and $address variables in the php files ) and an activation code.
Once the user recieves this activation code (which we will provide offline) he should fill that in on the website, and his account should get activated.
This should take a maximum of 2 - 3 hours for someone already working on Virtuemart, and I'd expect a demo of some sort and a bid between 50 - 100$.
