Semi-social based Article/Multi-user Blog website.

Bidder info:
-Must be an expert in Joomla
-Please provide portfolio of similar sites...especially those with jomsocial integrated.
-Test full site and work out all bugs before handing over
-I will own all rights to the site and code once complete
-Needs to be built so I can keep up/update the site after it is complete
-Looking for possible longer term support on an infrequent basis for website maintaince and development if site is built to standards.
-Maximum time line of 45 days
-Bidder must be fluent in English and be able to communicate via IM or email frequently during build
-any questions/concerns must be addressed before bidding
-give a brief suggestion/implementation of how site will be built, what extensions will be used, etc,etc.
-Some of the stuff is partially done...take a look at the current site and judge for yourself.


General:
-Want a very basic looking website/template. Content is key, not so much pictures, videos, etc.,
-Maybe use a current jomsocial template if possible?
-Want the social aspect of the site to be secondary, meaning the template/site doesn't look/appear like a social site.
-Similar idea to squidoo.com but more business/finance based.
-Basic Idea is the user submits an article 150-500 words, no matter how raw or unedited. The admin then goes in and edits for grammer/spelling/etc and also ads in relevant keywords and ad/affiliate links into the article without actually changing the content of the article.
-Want the site to be designed so the visitor/user gets drawn towards the “meat” of the site (articles, questions, comments, news feeds)
-Need to easily access Clickbank and Commission Junction ads as these will be how the site gets money.
-Very user friendly, easy to get from place to place without getting lost within the site.
-Need a basic logo/brand made up...something with a dollar sign in it


Building:
-Must use Joomla and jomsocial (already have it)
-use free joomla extensions anywhere possible
-The articles must be SEO friendly
-The rest of the website needs to be as SEO friendly as possible
-FTP/admin info provided to work directly
-imbed google analytics


Front Page:
-Be able to navigate easily to almost anywhere on the site from tabs and menus.
-Ability to go to a catchy looking article title or popular article from the front page
-Must be able to see Clickbank ad code on page load (right side of page?)
-Want a sign-up form in the center of page with a list of what can be done upon signing up...very similar to indianbee.com.
-Show facebook connect icon and let visitors know they can login via facebook.
-Show recent activity (or just recent posts/articles?) down at the bottom of the front page like indianbee.com


When signing up:
-1st page very generic like facebook or indianbee.com but need sign up form like fitnoke.com with birthday and male/female boxes. Also need a checkbox for users to automatically subscribe to RSS feed from site
-integrate an EASY TO READ CAPTCHA upon sign up




Users:
-ability to create groups
-ability to rate and comment on articles
-ability to fill out profile info like facebook, myspace, etc. Need to be able to get demographic data off of this and be able to download it. Also, need to be able to add/subtract demographic questions. IE-add a “household income” part of the demographics.
-Only registered users can make comments or give feedback...if user decides to interact with the site, they must upload a picture or avatar before they can leave comments/feedback...post an article etc.
-users must submit article and it can post immediately, but it needs to be sent to the admin for editing.


Sections:
-Use top tabs similar to how the site is now. (Celebrities/Experience Builder/Funny/investing/Start a business)

Add section
-Members who need help (either on top tabs or side menu)
-can post questions or post a need for a solution IE- help building a website

General:
-Guests/vistors/lookers have ability to look around the entire site and read all of the articles.
-ability to sort articles by rating, number of times read, number of comments (within each section or for the whole site, similar to squidoo.com)
-Need social bookmarking aspect...with Tip'd being seen on the 1st part of the article (how it is currently on the site with Digg)
-(on the right side of the page?) every article must be able to load a different Clickbank ad or Commission Junction ad. Would also like an ad at the bottom of the article before the comments start.
-Users need to be able to integrate pictures, sound, and youtube/video into the articles.
-RSS feeds are very important. Users and nonusers need to be able to subscribe to any given section feed or site as a whole feed from any page.
