Description
As per the attached document, I am looking to host a database similar to mygoals.com with some key differences:Goal Tracking Software – Project Proposal
Over riding theme
They Key here will be simplicity of use and functionality. I find the existing material on the market cumbersome and time intensive to set up which I believe is a barrier to take up. I’d also like to be able to cover a variety of different “Goals” so it has to be clean, crisp and neutral ie I’d like to cover diverse goals like “Plan my wedding”, “lose weight”, buy a motorcycle”, “write a book” etc
System
I’m OK with anything that can be installed on my virtual Linux Server running MySQL etc as long as it is “stand alone” in terms of not referencing another system. I would prefer the database to by a MySQL database. Feel Free to leverage available opensource, php code.
Must Have:
1. Ability to choose preformatted/edible plan or make your own.
2. Similar to MyGoals.com goal layout but one large form versus refreshing every time you change/add a piece.
3. Ability to choose email address and reminder date for reminder emails.
4. Each task must have category not started/Started/Complete fields/ - these should be a drop down.
5. Each Goal or record will have a standard “summary” piece” which would include:
a. Goal Name
b. Description of Goal
c. Why is this Goal important to me?
d. What’s the truth about your current situation?
e. What are my Available Resources and Support?
6. Overall Layout will be:
a. Goal
b. Milestone/Obstacles
c. Strategies to achieve this milestone/overcome this obstacle.
d. Sub-tasks under each milestone/obstacle
Customer Level
1. Secure login and payment gateway via paypal
2. Ability to see “summary” of current goals.
3. I’d like the ability to summarize each goal based on a percentage complete graph and a task’s overdue metric.
4. From there client can add new goal, drill down/edit existing
I will supply sample goals and key milestone’s/obstacles or we can negotiate that as part of the price
