Description

Hi,

I wish to develop a social networking website, using elgg, to be used as part of a intranet and as a public website.

The site requires:

* Integrating existing plugins and ensuring that they work as required (oweneduser, calendar, folio). ** See below of known issues
* A custom template, that is well designed (I'm aiming to win an award with this website).
* Customising default fields to suit sector specific requirements.
* Dual-language support.

** Known plugin issues, as found by me, using latest xampp on win xp:

Owneduser: Blogs appear to be dual posting, although there is only one database entry per blog entry.
Calendar: Only admin and communities can post events. Ordinary users can't.

At this stage of the project, all the required functionality is available via plugins (except for the dual-language support, from what I understand, although elgg does support various languages).

However, this may change as the project progresses, as I receive feedback from my members. Bidders who have the ability to write custom plugins or extend existing plugins, will be favoured.

A full brief will follow once the project is awarded, for final quotation, however I do expect that bids contain a basic breakdown of expected costs and an hourly rate for all work outside of scope.

If you believe that my budget insufficient, please don't hesitate in bidding, as my primary goal is to find the right partners, not the lowest price.

This project will be staged, along with payments.
