website - Hearwave

type of site - music,video and all media uploading and sharing site

first of all i will need you to show me a few mock up designs of the way the site could be and show me how it will funtion.

The site will be a database driven website and users can sign up as a music artist or as a user for FREE

It should be easy to use and each page loads as one and not in parts

Every user or music artist that signs up will get a confirmation email to continue the sign up process successfully

In the sign up process they must have an option to extract the contacts from yahoo msn ect and send an invitation to sign up

All users and music artists will get an unique url e.g: hearwave.com/yourname and be able to choose what it is to be and if its avaliable

Customizable profiles

Music artist’s profile

Sign up/ log in
Advanced sign up section with choice of three music genres
Add unlimited mp3 and wav songs to a custom Hearwave music player
Every user of the site can then have the option to:
Buy song,
Download song,
Add song to page
Add song to a playlist,
Text song to mobile phone,
The music artist will be able to control what options are available to the user from their log in page but every song uploaded will always have the option of being added to a playlist.and distributed in various ways
Every song will have the amount of plays
All profiles will have profile views, song views, from that day and their total views
Be able to copy and past code of Hearwave music players to other websites MySpace, Facebook ect
The music artist must be able to completely customize their profile in an advanced way, like on MySpace with pics, info, bulletins, shows, blogs, what im doing now feature
The layout of the profile pages are to be similar to bebo.com’s profile pages where there are various widgets with different things going on
All widgets can be moved around and placed where they want by the artists
Send messages
Video cam features
Comments on profile
Instant chat
Add as friend and friend request sent by email for them to accept
Friends list on profile
Add own html in widgets to add youtube videos ect

We need an advanced profile for the music artists to share promote and sell their music/products
We need an advanced log in page with updates, bulletins ect

User’s profile
The user’s profiles are the same layout and mainly the same features which will be completely custermisable but it will have different kinds of information and they won’t be promoting their music, they will be networking with the artists and their friends and sharing music in their playlists and music tastes

All users can be added as a friend and a friend request email sent to them for them to accept

The user can add any song off an artist’s page to their hearwave playlists

The log in page should be similar to Facebook with friend updates,artst updates bulletins, blogs, status ect

Hearwave charts

There will be charts for all genres of music
Most played songs will make the charts
Have a look at the MySpace charts (myspace.com) and Soundclick charts (.soundclick.com) it should be similar to theirs.

Charts will need to be automaticaly updated each week

Music playlists

Create playlists
Name playlists
Browse playlists
Share playlists
Email link to playlists
Add any song uploaded by a music artist to the playlists (similar to myspace playlists)

Chat features
Advanced chat features as on facebook

These are the main features on the site that need to be very advanced and up to date I would also like your expertise to add other features and aspects of the site which are missing from this list, also when building the site please bear in mind that it will be getting updated on a regular basis and we will also need you for that.

Basically i am also looking for a good web developer to create this site and have 50% ownership of the site (the site would have to be up to date with very advanced features and unique design.

I will then promote the site using various methods

we would both receive a percentage of every song sold on the site

we will get freelance telesales staff to sell online adverts, i have sold advertising for 7 years and can also do abit myself.

there are various ways we can make money through this site so this is a very good Opportunity for both of us.
