Description

We have a small goods and services website with various work categories and sub categories. At the moment, these items are listed as one long, unsorted, continuous list, spanning nearly two pages already.

What we would like is to have a smaller, "directory" or "tree-style" box containing these items, perhaps similar to the windows explorer folder viewing system. Main categories would be shown in the box and when a particular folder (category) is selected, then it should expand (like when one clicks the + sign next to a folder) and show the subcategories, ready for selection with tick boxes.
Our site incorporates this same list in four separate places including the administration section of the site which allows editing or addition of these categories and subcategories.
The site is written in php and uses SQL.
There is more work (further enhancements to our site) for anyone who will successfully complete this task.
