I have an active oscMax v2.0 RC3 store, which is based on osCommerce but uses the BTS templating system. There is an existing affiliate program with 100+ enrolled affiliates. However, I can't get the affiliate banners to show, and affiliates advise they don't work on their sites, either. It is supposed to be a 2 tier affiliate program but I can't see anything to track the 2nd tier and what they are doing from either the affiliate control panel or the admin side. Perhaps this function wasn't working yet in the version I have.

When you click on the links on the Affiliates FAQ page near the bottom of the left column,(which are anchors) they don't work. I think the banners and links worked before I moved to new hosting on a different server, so it may be a path problem. When I log on as an affiliate I also get a browser warning on the banner page warning that parts of the page are insecure, probably because the images aren't being pulled from the https folder correctly.

Also some links in the admin area for various functions in the affiliate program don't seem to do anything or kick errors. In particular the Generate Payments link.

The instructions in the affiliate 'create links' area for creating custom links to specific products or categories are also wrong. I'm using a SEO contrib that changes the urls to words on many pages and shortens the urls on others, so I don't know how to tell the affiliates where to find the product id numbers needed for linking to specific products or specific categories. I also need this figured out, or a row added to the database that will make this part of the stock number or something. It has to be really simple for affiliates to be able to locate the product number or category number, perhaps visibly displayed on the product description page or something. In some way that won't be messing up the urls for SEO.

I believe there is a later version of this osCommerce contrib than the one I'm using, which is several years old. (I don't remember what version I have installed.) I need someone to upgrade my store to the latest version of the multiple tier affiate contribution, set it for 2 tiers, then troubleshoot it to make sure everything is working and these problems are solved, without losing the data on the current affiliates and their sales to date.

You will need to download the files you need, do the testing on your server, then upload to my server when it's working, as this is a live site.
