Description
We have a Joomla web site with VirtueMart Shopping Cart installed. We are looking for a programmer who can build a secure script that updates, through the internet, the server's database field "stock" everyday from an ASCII, .csv or comma delimited file that resides in a folder at a company's PC.1)We will need a simple desktop icon (executable,XP) so our company's employees can run it to update the database with just one click. (we will provide you the graphics like .ico etc) .
2)The script must automatically update the db field "stock" from ftp once per day at a specific time (without user action).
The script must be easily customizable ( graphic interface or just #Help Comments in the code) so that we will able to change the domain name, IP, User/Pass, add/edit/remove DB tables/fields, paths, time etc. Any suggestions for extra features are more than welcome...

We need the script to be portable, for example i want to be able to use it to another joomla/viruemart installation, just changing some lines of code like domain or to add/remove virtuemart_dbfields/tables and also the ability to use different ascii/csv/excell file. Please use #comments in your script.
We need, from the desktop sync application (.exe), to choose the file (.csv,ascii,excell) for upload, and also to enter the server (domain or IP). When the user puss the button it will update existing db product fields, add new db products (if any new in the .csv/ascii/excell), and also to remove db products that there isn't any more in the .csv/ascii/excell.
You have to setup also a cron job to update the 'Stock' field every day for example at 06:00.
In the near future, we will need you to develop the same project for magento platform

I uploaded a sample file with 30 products. This is the explaination because it is in greek language
DB tables --> jos_vm_product field - jos_vm_product_price
Col.A --> product_sku
Col B --> product_desc + product_name
Col.C --> product_unit ## It's a text area in virtuemart admin. You can enter it as it is...
Col F --> product_tax_id ## ='2' -- All the products using taxID=2 (19%)
Col.N --> ##is the product price(with tax included). Tables: product_id from jos_vm_product and product_price_id , product_price from jos_vm_product_price ### Here there are 2 tables involved...
Col.O --> product_in_stock ## (values from 0 - 999)
##Col.N is the Gross Price (with tax included) (Col.M is the Net Price without tax).
***I believe that you have to bypass default values for all fields. Only this way the products will be published right away. For example it's critical for every product to have product_publish=Y etc.
*** I have to be able to change/control those 'columns' which your script will update Mysql of other joomla/virtuemart installations...
