Description: There are existing sections in the site using which members can send messages to each other. Whenever a new message is sent from the site, an SMS is sent to the receiving user notifying them that a message has been sent on the site.

I have ready made solution based on a normal Nokia mobile phone. No need of special SMS gateway, the mobile phone connects to your server via Internet, collects the data and sends the sms to appropriate people. The phone and the server can be in any phisical location with connection to internet. The 5 days means the following: reading your documentation about your server and database, configuration of the phone accordingly, initial testing by client, configuration of final version, acceptance test by client and delivery of final product.
