Description

I am not very good at using linux server commands at all.

I need someone to install & activate "PECL uploadprogress library" for my servers PHP.

http://pecl.php.net/package/uploadprogress

This should be a very easy project for someone who knows Unbuntu linux well.

Current server installation is 8.04 Hardy Heron. Root access will be given to the winning bidder.

This is a prduction server so please only apply if you know what your doing.

Assuming that your box has all the necessary libraries (compilers, that is, for makefile) installed (should be ok by default), I can do it for you. Think you may need to restart some services like PHP and the like, that use PECL. Let me know if interested then.

I can do this job fast and very efficiently, I use Ubuntu Linux, I have experience in administering Ubuntu based servers, I even wrote PHP extensions, so installing one would be a minor task for me.
