Description

I require a web service to be written to allow records to be added to a MySQL database from Python code on a remote server.

The server with the MySQL database supports Python and PHP. I don't mind what the service is written in.

I also require sample Python code that will call the web service to add a new record to the database.

This is a very simple web service. It just checks to see if there is a record with the name already in the database and if there is not, it adds the new record.

You should have experience with MySQL, Python or PHP and Web Services.
