Description

We need a YouTube scraper programmed ASAP!
The script has to be able to do this;

1. Enter keyword or keywords
2. it searches youtube for that keyword/s and downloads all the Titles/Descriptions/Tags for that keyword for the first 100 to 1000 videos as specified by the user.
3. It saved all the information into a text file named "keyword.txt" so if the keyword searched was "cars" it would create a file called "cars.txt"

So basically convert a string like this;
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=car&aq=f

into a text file with the titles/descriptions/tags for the videos.
of course everything has to be separated by spaces and legible.

Hi, This can be done using Google GData API for YouTube. I've had some experience with writing crawlers since i needed to collect data for my masters thesis on popularity. Using the API you can perform keyword based searches and it provides most of the details in a structured format, and thus there's probably no need to crawl raw HTML pages.
