Description

I would a site like myspace/ xanga but quiet different. The site can be built with php/mysql and cgi/perl that are compatible with linux, and should be built with using a cms system, or from an existing social networking script, but they should all be modified to look unique and have all the features I want. The site should have an easy interface administrator control panel, with all the easy features to manage the site without any programming knowledge or php The site can use all the open source scripts but should be modified to fit the site.

I know there is like 10 programs that are clones but this should be unique, plus it’ll have an online bible and prayer request with it. Also most clones are being sold from 20-200. so I am offering up to 150.

Online social networking site, but little different, with different look and functionality, and also made for Christian and other non Christian conservative audience.
The site will have member page/blog,
browse/invite/search,
date,
groups,
forums,
online prayer request,
and an online bible (like the open source php bible)

The members’ first page/ navigation page should have a special box visible on the right to all members, where I can enter messages to members and announcements about the website.

The member profile/page should be two parts up and on the sides are about me page with navigation like (myspace) but quiet different, and on the lower part are like a daily blog or journal with the ability to comment on each one, and see the journal within specified date like in (xanga)

The website will have an easy WYSIWYG html editor in the place where members post their (about me section) and on the blogs, also the editor should be implemented in the admin control panel so I can easily edit the website on each main page. FCK editor is accepted or any other easy to use open source one

The website should have the ability to have moderators, ( I should be able to make mods from members) The mods will be able to warn/ and ban any member, also edit logs/ profiles

The forums should have the main picture of each member as avatar, and member should be able to search for old threads, and members posts, and others, also when you press on a members name you’ll be redirected to his profile.

There should be a banner program like the open source phpadsnew , with banners put in special places ( top and skcrapper) Also a box on the main page. I should be able to put different kinds and sizes of banners in the top and to one of the sides. It should be very easy to set up campaign and with many features, but with easy interface and it is easy too implement picture and url, or html banners like adsense too.

There should be a rep points system too, where each member can give positive or negative reputation points in the members page (not only forums)


People can request to be friends, but can also subscribe to the members page but when subscribe only his name will appear in a small list to the left. ( mix between xanga and myspace)
The website should have also the following basic functions

The bible like, you can use the open source php bible ( online bible) or other
Also the other link should be

• Messages
• Compose new messages just like any ordinary emails and send them to the member's network of friends
• View inbox/sent/saved messages
• Announcement box: you put an announcement and it is displayed in all your friends announcement boxes, and also in your member profile in a box.
• Search
• Search for new friends and increase the member's network of friends
• Basic Search: search by first name, last name, email, distance and degrees
• Advance Search: enhance search functions where members can search for friends by age, schools, gender, occupation, interest, company and many more! Members have the ability to display only friends with photos and sort search results with zip code
• When you search you display a list in columns and rows of like 30 pictures
Date
You search for people to date, you can only press on break the ice, when they say yes, and you’ll be able to send messages to know the person, if the they say no you’ll be blocked for 1 week of this member.
The date search looks different than the search, (just like in yahoo personal) one picture with info about the members (age, sex, city , about) on the right. . It will display a list of 10 per page, with members in one column. Also the dating minimum is 18, and to browse dating your age should vbe 18 or above, if a member below 18 press on it it will display a message that he can't access this page.

Not: the minimum age for the website is 16.

• Groups
• Groups draw together individuals who share a common interest. These groups can be focused on any subject, affiliation, or activity. Book clubs, soccer teams, and alumni groups can form their own Groups, as well as family members, hobbyists, or professionals
• Members can create groups which will be listed in Groups Directory
o Group Events - Members can create a group event
o Discussion Board - Enable members to post messages in a group
o Manage Group - This feature allows a member to manage the group type (public, moderated or private) and change other settings such as group URL, title, description and category
• View the most popular and newest groups in the directory
• Ability to search for groups by keywords
• Invite
• Member can invite friends to join their network
• Support for multiple invitation
• Members can view the invitations they have sent to their friends and its status (whether their friends have signed up)
• Forums
• Members can view all topics and forum stats (number of post/ topics and last post)
• Ability to create new forum topics and post replies.
• Search forums for threads and members posts
The member page should have blog in it/Friends list on the right, and
Comments in a small box too on the right, if you press on the friends list it’ll take you to pages with full list, if you press on friends comments it’ll take you to a page for just testimonies.

You can also add whatever you can to make it easier
Notice: other ways to do the sites with different (little bit) functions can be accepted.
The admin functions should look like something in here, http://www.alstrasoft.com/efriends.htm with more integration for html editor, and easier. Also each member page should have a button to warn and ban users and are only visible to admins and mods.

Also the mods function should be less powerful than admin and should give them the power to only edit profile/ blogs/ then warn. Ban after the second warning. That’s all..

Notice I drew a little paper with what I want the members profile/ blog page like, look at it ( very basic layout)

Also I want everything in myspace in the member profile pages there/ and what is with xanga there, plus what I drew/ wrote.
The site should be filled with meta tags and easily seo optimized/ arranged in a good way.
Payment will be made when it is installed on the webs hosting server and fully bug free/ functional.
I’m going to offer the developer that make the script of becoming the person that I will always use when I want to maintain the site, and if the site perform good in the future I’ll offer a monthly salary for maintenance and adding feature.
(Prefer developers from that can deliver high quality/ professional looking site within the price range)

Another thing in the forum having every secong post in a thread as a place to place contextual or bann ads.

Also statistics page with visitors, impresions, unique visitors, page views, statistics for each banner too.

other statistics like user #, number and percentage of male, female, aage statistics, etc.

The banner system should have 3 banners in the main page rectangle upper and side, one in the user info like myspace and 2 in other like group search, etc...

also second post of threads should have a place for banners.

the banner system should be able to take html stuff like adsense and banners too.

It also shgould have a unique layout with white as a main thing, and black/ blue/ red / green colors. The site should be normal like myspace/ xanga but take on the full page, also the upper and lower outlines in the navigation page/ start page shoul have stuff like fire going up from blue and ending with red fire connected to the logo wich i will provide

also the classmates just like the ones in myspace, etc.

on the bottom of course theer should be links to privacy policy, ters of use, about use, advertise page with fourm were people can riht what they want in a message and when they press send it will send it a mail box for advertisements, just like myspace.

last thing is that the site should run fast on the server and should not use too much cpu, or cause lagging in serevr, and on the other hand should be fast and run steadily.
