This full time employee will work from home being logged into instant messenger and reachable anytime during the week. (read more about the company below) Programming Java, PHP, Visual Basic, ActiveX, SQL, PL/SQL, UML, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP, Cpanel, Perl, XML Responsibilities: -Create the CSS and XHTML for the product -Develop highly interactive websites based on project managers, customers and your input. -Collaborate Product Management on refining and improving the user experience. -Help develop mobile front ends Requirements: -Fluent in CSS, HTML/XHTML, Javascript and AJAX -Solid understanding of the possibilities and limitations of building web applications -4+ years experience in developing and launching high-traffic web sites -Experience with templating languages -Bachelors/Masters/Technical Degree (CS, EE, EECS or Equivalent) preferred -Mobile application development experience is a plus (WAP, J2ME and/or BREW) -Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator experience a plus -Experience leading a team is desirable -Python/PHP/RoR or other scripting language experience is a plus -Unix/linux experience is desirable -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Reporting You will be responsible for reporting to your project manager on a daily bases.
