Description

The correlation tool on sychonomics.com/stockscan1.html accesses market data via a breakdown of sectors on Yahoo!

For amex, for example, we source from finance.yahoo.com/lookup?s=%5eamex&t=I&m=US&r=1

clicking on 'symbol' then goes to the next page which has a link for 'components'

However, 'components' for the phily exchange has not been accessible recently.

This means that parts of the tool cannot be used.

What I am looking to do is have a database on my site containing the sector components - rather than look them up externally - eg Broker-Dealers (XBD), which currently works by the way, would have its constituent stocks such as JPM, BSC... in a text file. And the current system modified to work in this way. Note we do not want to remove the current method but have this one as an alternative method, and to be the default (see copy of stockscan.html).

This applies to all sectors - each sector to have its own text file. With additions to be easily made
