Description

Script Summary:
- Works as an inverse click counter for a website – regressively count clicks for an expiring offer.
- Starts of with a certain amount of clicks or items. Example it would say on the website: "10 Items Left". So, say we started with a set number of 10 items to sell.
- Once a certain page is accessed or link is clicked on, that number will reduce to "9 items left"
- Must also be able to automatically reset when is says "1 left"

Script Requirements:
- Script must be able to be installed in a HTML file (*.html)
- Must be simple to install
- Must load easily
- Must be able to have the number of items displayed on both the sales page and the order page: So it would say "10 items left" on the sales page, but when someone clicks and goes through the order page it would say on top of the order page "9 items left".
Also, if another visitor were to visit the site, when they see the sales page they would see "9 items left". If they clicked to the order page they would then see "8 items left"
- The script must consider unique clicks for at least 12h. I don't want the number of items going down unless it's a new click after 12h.
- But a user that clicked it on it 6h ago, should see it go down if someone else has clicked on the link within these 6 hours.
- Must be able to automatically reset when it says “1 left”, so a visitor never sees “0 left”.
- Must be able to display script a simple number on the website. That is, by inserting a simple line of code I could see “There are 10 items left” where when you see the code would be like: “There are ->SCRIPT<- items left”

Demo:
- Please show me a demo prior to completion. Just to make sure it’s what I had in mind.

Script Type:
- PHP
- Javascript
- Perl/CGI
I have no preference. However, it must be simple to use and easy to install.

Database type:
- MYSQL if PHP
- Or can be PHP/PERL/Javascript without database (using just a text file)

Supporting files:
I have 5 counter scripts that you can use and modify at will. I have uploaded these in a single zip file. The problem with these is that they count progressively, whereas I need them to countdown.
