Description

I need a very simple font editor created for a friend of mine.
Requirements are:

-To be able to export TrueType font files.
-A simple pixel grid (maybe 10wide and 20 high - the ability to change the dimensions would be nice).
-A pencil to fill in the pixels in 1 of four shades (black - dark and light grey - white/delete). No other tools are necessary.
-Perhaps 4 moveable guide lines, 2 horizontal, 2 vertical.
-A table so that you can see what character you are creating.
-Needs to be able to do as many characters as possible (punctuation, capitals etc.)
-Work in OSX without a runtime environment, or work online (I don't know if any online scripts could accomplish this?)


If you want to send me PM's advising on the kind of program you could write, thats fine by me, I don't mind bending on some of the requirements as long as it still does what I want it to.

I'm looking for someone who is sure they can complete the project, with experience in OSX programming (or PHP etc. if that is what you will be using).
Also someone with a very good grasp of english, I don't want to confuse things by hiring anyone who won't understand everything I say, sorry.

I have posted this in a few different categories as I am not actually sure which languages or whatever can acheive this.

I have found an online editor that does everything I want it to, except for the darkgrey / lightgrey pixels . I just want somebody to extract the functionality from this site so that it can be put in a new layout for the university. Though it still doesnt have to be able to open or import fonts like the one online does.
