Description: This is an inquiry for a Macintosh laptop scrip/program/application. Not being a mac user myself, I do not know which job type to select. Please recommend your best method. I would prefer a script.

Monitor folder (RAW) for new JPEGs (*.jpg and *.cr2 files will be added to folder - ignore cr2 files). New JPEGs will get scaled (resized) to a max pixel size and saved to another folder (WORKING). New content to WORKING folder will be sent via FTP.

Ideally, monitor would also watch sub folders.

There will be a large number of file (upto 1,000 per day) so fast, efficient image manipulation will be important.

Ideally, once configured on the system, the script would run in the background without user interaction.
