Description

Hello,

I need someone to setup and install VLC on my CENT OS 32 bit server.

I will be using this box to stream movies and videos.

I don;t know much about Linux.. but there is a command line version of VLC to stream movies.. as explained here

http://www.videolan.org/doc/streaming-howto/en/ch03.html

I'd like to have this running on a shell account on my box, that does not have root access, and only access to it's specific directory where the movies and videos will be uploaded.

I would also like you to possibly make some php or cgi script to setup a stream via a web interface... where I could possibly select a movie via some php script, and be able to select some basic options like what port to stream on, maybe what IP, perhaps changing the video and audio quality etc.

Please let me know when you can do this, and how long it can take.

Price is very important, I don;t have a ridiculous amount of money to spend on this.

The php/cgi script is not 100 % necessary, but it would be awesome to have, so let me know if you can do it. If you cant do that, let me know how you could set up a script via the command line, where I could type stream and it could walk me thru some options on something.

When I used a windows box for this, I almost always just used the "wizard" which was built into the VLC interface, So I'm pretty sure the default options will almost always work fine for me.

I have 55 Ips on the box, several free, so the php script can either be hosted on a subdomain or a dedicated ip like http://192.168.1.1/stream.php

Please let me know your Linux experience and whatnot so I may hopefully choose you as the service provider!

Also, if you cant do what I am asking, and think you have a better alternative, feel free to bid and let me know what your idea is to make this simple for us.
