Description

Looking to take information from emails, parse it, extract the info, and send it to our CRM using the API (XML-RPC).

The emails come to insurance agents and contain new lead information (and new information on existing clients). The information needs to be added to the DB (either creating a new contact record or updating an existing record). The API can be done in PHP (probably preferred), Java, ASP, Perl, or Python. There is a fair amount of existing documentation on the API including full examples.

I would like a web based interface (probably done in PHP) for the agents. The interface would allow them to set up their own emails (meaning they input the POP info, set the filters, etc). The agent interface would probably have an SQL backbone to store agent preferences and info.

It is easier if we could do this in PHP as PHP has a good wrapper in accessing XhML-RPC Web Service. And your XML-RPC Web Service has a well documentation, so it is easy for me to code this as well. Also, several modules such as PHP Email Downloader from either POP or MAPI can be found/downloaded for free from internet. This will save much time in development.
