Description
We are looking for a copy-writer/webmaster with good experience in motor-homes & caravans.Allcam (www.allcam.biz) has been engaged in retailing of multifunctional portable electronics & accessories over the internet for the past 5 years. We are now seriously considering in establishing ourselves as a wholesaler to the motor-home- & caravans industry (we call leisure industry).
The consumers of the leisure industry are normally richer than the average public, and are very particular about what they are going to buy. They are willing to pay higher price for a product matching their exact expectations instead of sacrificing a little for a product available at supermarkets for 50% less. They are willing to travel 100miles to their own dealer to get a product instead of ordering it from the internet at the comfort of their own home.
The choice for us is clear: if we want to break into this industry, the only way is to break into those dealers. Dealers need much higher margin (normally 20 to 30%) in order to meet their higher overhead, so as a wholesaler to those dealers we need to provide 20% or more discounts based on our recommended retail prices. The problem is we can not compete over the internet if we push our margin to 20% or higher. So it is crucial that we separate the wholesale business from the existing internet business.
Our intention is to form a company called “Allcam Leisure” with its own website (www.allcam.co.uk).
Your main job are
1). Re-group the main products on our existing website (www.allcam.biz) as the new home page for allcam.co.uk, according to the thinking of motor-home/caravan owners, so they can easily found the product they want.
2). Take the basic products information from the existing website (allcam.biz), re-phrasing according to the thinking of motor-home/caravan owners
3). The site will provide detailed price information on quantity break-up to enable both individuals as well as dealers to order directly online.
4). Allow customers to make payment via credit card/debit card, Paypal, and capabilities to add further payment options.
Our linux server supports PERL, PhP (as CGI), and MySQL database.
