Description

I need an auction site for a new start up business and I want this web site to appear on the first page of the major Search Engines.

I have purchased the PHP Probid Auction software for my website:

I need the following things amended/done:

1. Search Engine Optimisation.

2. The site to have a different look and feel - please look at tazbar.com and carbidder.com for the kind of thing I am looking for. I have a moving graphic that I would like to be incorporated (probably down the left hand side) of each page.

3. Inclusion of Classified Ads.

4. A different price structure must be incorporated that allows either specific users (sellers) to have a reduction in the usual fees or allows all users (sellers) to have a reduction in the fees when adding multiple “bulk” items.

5. A new functionality that gives users of the site (the people using the site to search for items that they potentially want to purchase) the ability to be able to search within a specific distance from a UK Postcode (that they will input). This is the most important function. The site must have this.

6. Changes to the Search and Advanced Search features.

7. The results that come back from the “search” feature (when potential buyers are using the site to search for items) to be sorted by criteria that I define.

8. Some kind of forum area where users can post comments.

9. Amendments to some of the wording throughout the site.

10. Documentation produced detailing how to move the site to a new server (as this may become necessary) and then tested to ensure that everything still functions as it is without the loss of any function of the site or any data.

Any other existing functions of the site must not be affected by any of the above 10 changes.

The performance of the site must not be deteriorated by any of these changes.

All these changes will need to be administrable from the GUI admin area/site (where appropriate).
