Description
Hi. We need a simple upadate php script for use on the database of our cre loaded 6.3 store.The script will do the following.
1. Select all products that are classified as 'sub products' (if they have a record in the field parent_id). Check to see if the sub products name has been modified to contain the parent name. ie. if the parent product is called 'Parent 1', and the sub's name is 'Sub 1', the record of the sub products name should be 'Parent 1 - Sub 1'. If it is not then it should be updated.
2. Create a record in product blurb for all products, this should be done by using the products description.
3. Find all parent products. From this record, several things should be checked and updated.
3a. Check to see if there is a product image. If not, an image from one of its sub product should be found and used to add to the parents record and update the database.
3b. Check to see if there is a product blurb for the parent product, if not use one from any sub product and update the database.
3c. Check to see if there is a product price. If then then the cheapest price of the sub products should be found and update the database.
I'd like the winning bidder to provide a php file that I can run from my site.
This should be a fairly simple script for an experinced php programmer, so I'd like to keep the budget down. Thanks
