Description

The requirements of my project are as below:

We need a you tube clone with ecommerce included in it to sell videos (downloads as well as products like DVD/VCD etc). Since a product like this is not avalaible off the shelf, we would go in for a PhP based solution. So what we need is a you tube script in php and probably integrate it with OSCommerce or X-Cart.

Scope:
The website will be a user community like you-tube where the user can upload their videos, they can also subscribe to channels for a fee like teens/sports etc. Fee for a channel will be defined by the admin section of the you tube script. The website admin can also upload video files (in case of download) or product information (in case of DVD/VCD) using the backend of OSCommerce.

Please let me know what would be the cost involved and the timeframe. To host the videos do we need to have some special server? Would like to have a breakup in terms of approx hosting costs for video server / integration-development / graphic design (since we need to customise the front end)

Open ONLY to teams or individuals who have developed similar kind of website along with front end and backend demo links.

WE ARE ALSO OPEN TO A READYMADE ASP.NET SOLUTION FOR THIS REQUIREMENT.
