Description

I need an online estimating website built. This estimating function must allow the user to:
-input the dimensions of a poster they want printed
-select a type of paper or other material they want their poster printed on
-select if they want the poster laminated and if so what type of material
-select if they want the poster mounted and if so what type of material
-select if they want grommets and various other options added to their order

This tool would allow the user to log in, select their name from a pre-populated pull down menu and select a delivery address either from a pull menu or type in an alternate address manually. The customer would be able to enter the due date and time as well as job reference code and maybe a few other data files. The estimating function must calculate each component of the order and add everything together to return a total price estimate to the customer. If the customer accepts the quote the site would then convert the quote into an order and allow them to upload their file to be printed and then email the customer a confirmation order as well as email my staff a job order with details of what the client has requested along with a link to where the file is saved on a server (so my staff can retrieve the file).

This site will be used for a single corporate client that sends me work but needs an estimate before they approve production to begin. There would be no shopping cart on this site as we would not be charging a credit card but just be collecting an accounting code. If the site works well we would expand it to provides quotes for other types of printing work.

I have attached an excel spreadsheet which shows how each component of a poster request would get calculated and added up.

I will provide a basic design and layout of what the home page would look like.
