Actaully I'll explain the situation in detail, I've two websites, where I'm trying to sell 2 products, So to increase the number of visitors on my website, I'm depending on an affiliate website as well, as I'm using clickbooth.com, they are doing the promotion through email, ads etc.So for different kinds of promotion they have different sub id names. These sub id names helps us to find out the kind of promotion used for a particular lead.I'm supposed to pay a fixed amount to my affiliate promoter for every sale.So they have their tracking data with them, but I too should have my tracking data on my end so that I can compare these two to find out a fraud. This sub id gets passed through URl, i.e at the end of the URL,like this '?sid=CD1', it will always be attached to the parameter 'sid',Either we can capture this sid on google analytics or we can try our own programming methods to capture this sub id.The thing that, a particular click will lead them to iur home page, but for a sale they have to reach the thank you page after payment. For payment I'm using a third party provider, http://www.1shoppingcart.com, currently we have two issues, the 'sid' parameter is not getting attched with the url, also we are unable to track those sid's at our end, if you have worked with google analytics you might have an idea how to capture, or else you can write your own to code to do that.At the end I should be able to know the sub id numbers(that's sid) triggered a sale, I don't want to know the sub id's of simple visits. So if you could help, pls PM ME ASAP, IT'S URGENT.
