Description

I have created two php scripts that make backups of:

1 Web site file data

2 mySQl database


Both of the above connect to my FTP server to upload the files, so I have an offline backup.

They both work well manually, but I sometimes forget to run them and therefore want them converted so that they will run off of a cronjob.


However, I have a problem with the first script, which is timing out and not deleting its temporary backup file, due to the file being quite large (about 400MB) making the php page timeout and not be able to run to the end and therefore delete the temp file.


I'm hoping this should be a walk in the park 10 minute job for a seasoned php/linux guru :)

My normal terms of 50% payment into escrow upon acceptance of the project, and final 50% upon completion.
