Description

Basically this is what is needed:

1. A shipping module that includes the ability to manipulate both local and international shipping charges per individual product and/or per individual category. (International shipping can be a separate module if that would work better.) International could be inputted as percentage of increase based on standard shipping cost or can be inputted as a fixed amount whichever is easier.


2. Input of shipping cost should be per individual product and/or per individual category.

3. Allow for percentage discounts based on quantity of the same product ordered.

4. Shipping cost needs to be to be visible in the product's description. Placement is preferred directly underneath the cost of the item but is acceptable in other locations as long as it is visible and its location makes sense.

5. Shipping cost needs to be visible throughout the payment process as well as on the final invoice.

6. Modules must work in conjunction with current, Virtuemart available, payment methods. (GoogleCheckout is currently the only payment method setup and is setup for sandbox testing. Other payment methods will be added later.)

7. Bidder must be able to work off of previous programmer's attempt to accomplish this or must be able to start from a clean slate by removing the previous programmer's changes. (If need be, a reinstall of the raw site and template is possible since this site is not yet live but it is important that by the end of this project the site will be functional.)

Currently our vendor provides a shipping cost per product so we are attempting to do the same so as to not overcharge or undercharge for shipping.

We are open to suggestions that will make this project or the site better.

It is important that this/these module(s) are operative and compatible with at least Joomla 1.5 for a future upgrade if needed. Less than 100% of this project being completed will be a breach of contract and therefore will not be paid or not paid for the full amount (based on circumstance). 100% completion of this project will guarantee any future work with this site will first pass through you? and there will be more to do. We are faithful to those whom complete the work as expected and believe it is best not to have too
