Description

I have a hunting based website whic we are looking to update. We'd like to use the latest version of Joomla. Our site is a community based site (meaning people contribute their stories, picture, recipes, jokes, videos, etc). We want to find better ways to increase the ease in which people participate on our site and communicate through it. I have been somewhat detailed in the different sections we are looking for (listed below). Most all are able to be covered by Joomla, except for (2) I think. I need a custom developed mini-website application (see below) as well as functionality similar to BrightKite.com (where users can take a picture via cell phone, submit and have it shown on map). Can leverage BrightKite.com. (I also need user to be able to log in and update info associated with their pictures.

We are looking to begin as soon as we find the right developer to help. Please advise on time to complete. Requirements include: US based company/developer, primary language is English, and 3-5 recommendations from previous clients of similarly scoped work (must provide phone #).


General Requirements
• CSS breakout navigation (search engine friendly)
• Sleek/consistent theme throughout site (all sections- Web 2.0)
• Flash animation on index page (small)
• Optimized for search engines (friendly urls, etc)
• Company logo design - Orange Cup Design will be responsible for this
• RSS feeds to other site (and ability to capture)
• Contact Forms
o Forms throughout site collect visitor information and store in contact database whenever users submits information to the site
• Newsletter Blast Function – Integrate on the Admin only
• Languages Accepts: PHP (Joomla)

Index page
• Dynamically created from other site sections (i.e. news, articles, products, forum, shout box, photo gallery, recipes, etc)- have functionality similar to MSN.com
