Description

I am need to integrate Zencart and joomla.

My preference is a for a fully installable, distributable component that I will own. This should be fully Joomla compliant but should also have mechanisms to install additional Zencart modules and functions and provide for installing updates and patches.

If the above project is too big or too hard then I may accept a smaller project which is to be a basic merging scripts. At a minimum this would have to include the user/admin users database and sessions being common. If logged into one app then the user will be logged in to both. If registered on one app then the user will be registered in both.

One idea I have for this is to create a seperate common DB for users/sessions and have both scripts modified to use the common DB and draw. This would also allow future scripts to also utilise the common DB.

Either way installation files should be distributable and easy to incorporate.

Again I would insist on owning all code and function incorporated into the project with exclusive rights to distribute.

The budget has been set on the first project. Obviously the second project is substantially smaller.
