Hey Everyone,
I originally hired a development company to create one of my websites. My website is a concert review website. It was a huge project and they completed a very abridged, basic version of what I actually wanted done. While the contract between us called for a custom coded CMS, they ended up giving us Joomla.
I'm looking for someone to help clean up the mess and create the website that I want...continuing on from where the other guys left off (meaning Joomla can still be used). This project is open to individuals or companies. I made the mistake before of jumping for a company that claimed to be reputable (and had a lengthy portfolio, but none of the sites they did had neared the level of my site). If you do contact me, please present me with your portfolio and some sort of guarantee for the work that you do. I'm not out to screw anyone over. I'm an honest person and all I want is a fully working website.
To highlight some of the major things I'd be looking for:
1. Add an integrated gallery system. Part of my site has a directory of musical artists and I'd like to be able to add pictures and have the ability for them to show up only in the profiles of artists that are in the picture (I can specify that when uploading).
2. Clean up some of the pages and remove some unnecessary elements from the pages.
3. Implement some sort of easy to use banner system that allows me to run different campaigns from it. I have special graphics that I would want to put on the site as "banner boxes" and then have the banners inside those boxes.
4. Make some adjustments to the individual review pages. The way that they currently look is nothing like they are supposed to. This will include changing some of the font colors, graphics and integration of gallery system.
Those are the major things.
Just a note that once the project is completed and paid, I will require you (or your company) to send me a printed screenshot of the website via snail mail. I'll of course pay for the postage required.
