Description

I am looking to develop a user generated search engine. The project will be a search engine in which users can submit specific information to the website and receive payment through paypal for their efforts after being reviewed and when they reach a certain balance.

The information can be retrieved by future users like a regular search engine by typing the matching keyword information in the search box on the search engine home page. The search results can be filtered by course, isbn,class,school, subject and topic in order to find the desirable information.

In order for users to receive a credit for payment the submission must be reviewed by a different party. Logged in Users have the opportunity to review submissions or challenge information that they believe is not entirely correct. Challenges will be sent to the administrator in order to decide whether or not to reopen the submission for review.

The website will offer users simple profiles for them to keep track of activities and payment history. There will be an administrative section in order to monitor activities, release payments, and review challenges to current information.

I picture the site being like a regular search engine but without the algorithm. It is a human powered search engine. I really want to see this project through and I have created specs for the qualified developer. I am looking for a qualified developer who can deliver what I want, because there is a strong possiblity that I could hire them for extra work.

The website will have a "GetPaid" link on the search engine home page. In the function the user will input all the vital information for the submission to be retrieved at a later date.

Should future users not find what they are looking for they can add their request to the "Wishlist", which will be a link above all search result pages. The wishlist will be a list that can be viewed on the user's profile should they want to answer any of the request.

Users can search for text submissions or equation submissions. Equation submissions have the ability to open up slide show windows for in depth step by step instruction, which would be created by user who created the submission.

With that being said user who go to the get paid option will have the choice of "Text" submission, "Equation" submission, or Review. Text will be simple reference input back to the the textbook.

Users can receive the answer by participitating in the "Tell-A-Friend" link which will open up the answer for "Text" equations. User participating in "Equation" submissions will have the opportunity to create a step by step slide show of the equation with up to 50 slides.

The project is not as complicated as I have detailed, but it does make it easier by providing a vision for the developer. I will be happy to answer any questions. I am looking to have the project done at $2300.

As I said before should the project be accepted by a qualified developer and completed to my satisfaction more work could be in the future.
