Description

We need a solid php, javascript (and of course html/phtml) programmer with Magento experience (and references) to work with us on an ongoing bases for our new magento website.

The type or work we need is php and javascript programming, website optimisation, magento extension integration, cart optimization etc.

Please send me your interest, experience (with magento specifically) and willingness to have ongoing work in small to medium project format.

Also, your hourly rate or preferred way to bid on a project.

We are seeking an individual, not a company.

SEO experience would also be an advantage!

Note: If you prove yourself to us on our project you will enjoy a lot of ongoing work from us and referrals to a specialty food community in Austin, Texas!

PROJECT 1 - this is what needs to be done immediately for our existing www.zhitea.com website...

1)On the product pages the “Review” Tab should say “Reviews”

2)For all Reviews on the product pages please - remove the link (currently showing the date) to the individual review url needs to be taken off.

Remove the link to the review pages from the Tab marked Review on each product, see example page:

What I would remove is when you click on Review there is a link on each of the dates to an individual tea review such as :

http://www.zhitea.com/review/product/view/id/1167/

If the links were removed from the date on the product page that should be the only link to that particular review which would stop Google from indexing it, then if we redirected all those review pages say back to the homepage with the robot.txt file (see below).

2)robot.txt file needed to eliminate the review directory (i.e. the one with over 1200 of these urls in it http://www.zhitea.com/review/product/view/id/1167/ )

3)When you click on “Rating – 9 Reviews” this also links to a different url right now...needs to stay as per above example http://www.zhitea.com/organic-tropical-green-tea.html

3)Fix problems with “promotions” in admin tool – updated Magento MAY address this....please assess and discuss prior to implementation.

3)Scroll bar text changes needed on Homepage – Note: if you simply change the text the php reference will throw everything out...Featured Teas needs to become – “Featured”; Monthly Specials needs to become “Specials”; Gifts needs to become “Tea Gifts”

4)Customize it so that ALL Sales orders sign up for the newsletter by default if an email address is put in and they create an account.

5)Add “Sign-up for Newsletter” to onepage checkout - http://www.magentocommerce.com/extension/1361/checkout-newsletter

6)Sort products alphabetically in the main (yellow bar) navigation AND on the left hand side of the product page e.g. http://www.zhitea.com/green-tea.html

7)Under Shipping Method in the checkout we have a button that says “Do you have any gift items in your order?
Check this checkbox if you want to add gift messages.
This line needs to say “Check this checkbox if you want to add gift wrapping & a gift message ($5)”....and by clicking on that they will be charged $5 in the cart.

8)We need to be able to change the cost of the gift wrapping in the admin tool OR make it a FREE promotion etc.
