Description

INTRODUCTION
-------------
The Project is related to the creation of an e-shop for buying Painting Reproductions and Cliparts.
So the Products for this e-shop are Paintings and Cliparts.

The e-shop will be implemented via ZenCart version 1.3.7 AND NOT ON 1.3.8

In general the whole architecture is the following:

- application will run on laptop computers
- on every laptop will be a XAMPP Server (Apache and MySQL) and the client part of the application will be there
- all products should be loaded on ZenCart
- the application will be installed on every laptop for the Franshiser.
- before the Franshiser starts working, the administrator will install the application and load the images/cliparts of the products there-the same for all Franshisers
- all images/cliparts will be watermarked on laptops
- the very same application will be installed on the Server
the images there will be NON watermarked
- so, every Franshiser will take it's laptop app and will start to try to sell Paintings...
- when he will finish the creation of the custom card, the Franshiser should export ALL Order Details from Art Canvas to an Excel File and send them to administrator with e-mail attachment.


MAIN Application
-----------------------------
1. Paintings will be categorized in 3 ways:

- By Painting Categories (Painting types, for example: Sketches, Landscapes etc)
- By Business Categories (which means in which Business categories the Painting is suitable to decorate their offices or shops!)
- By Painting Dimensions Categories (all Paintings are belong to a category of Paintings based on dimensions:
for example 90X100 cm paintings, 90X110 cm paintings etc)

2. All these catagories will be inserted through Admin Panel and all Products should be inserted through Easy Populate

3. Export of Orders on Excel File should be done with Order Exporter

4. User can search the Paintings using multiple criteria on Advanced search.
These criteria are:

- Painting Category AND Business Category AND Painting Dimensions Category

The results of this search will be paintings.

5. User also can browse all categories using an easy interface on the left area of the templates

THE TEMPLATES IN DETAILS
--------------------------

1. Home.psd

- On this PSD you can find the initial page of ZenCart customized version.

You can see the 3 browsing methods on the left.
Clicking on every Categorization type, you can see a screen like the one on "Browse by categories results.psd",
which consists of the number of Paintings on every category or subcategory.
Click on every category or sub-category there you can see the "Search results.psd" screen.

NOTE: Every Category will have ONLY one level of subcategorization

- On the center of the main page is a Flash viewer, the very same of the one on http://www.bigstockphoto.com/

- On the right of the viewer will be a "static" text on a div.

- On the bottom of the main page should be presented all main categories in sets of 10.
You can find a javascript or AJAX here to present the set of next and previous 10
Clicking on one of the categories should go to the screen Search results.psd

2. Search results.psd

On this PSD you can see the search results after multiple-criteria searching.
With a mouse over on the thumb of the painting, will appear a "pop-up" with the middle size image of the painting (see
Search results-Roll-over to painting thumb.psd)
With click on this image the user will go on "Painting Details.psd"

3. Painting Details.psd

You can see the details of the product here.
With click on the image will open a new page with the big image of the painting

IMPORTANT NOTES
---------------------
- The GUI should be the same as the PSDs
- Use the Segoe UI font to all fonts on the site
- For the rest screens of ZenCart edit css to be similar to the ones i sent (same font sizes, font colors etc)

DEADLINE
-----------------------
- HTML version and template appliance should be ready until 24.01.2009
- Full customization version should be ready until 30.01.2009
