Description

I am looking for a web developer to cover the following points:

- Google Maps for showing fishing locations (UK)
- search facility to find locations near specified city/postcode and display on map
- Each point on map should have an associated popup box, showing brief details of location (e.g. number of comments, date added, etc.)#
- Each point should also have associated webpage, showing images, rating, details, etc.
- The locations and their images/comments should be added by subscribed users.
- A basic backend that allows material to be added/deleted/edited with ease

These points should be covered with consideration for:
- A crisp, elegant stylish design that is user friendly (design is v. important here)
- A scalable robust system, that is not affected by a large number of locations being added (organisation of locations is important)
- Programming language: I am using a Linux web server, therefore PHP is probably a good choice
- Browsers! JavaScript is not very friendly with different browsers! Please ensure that the system functions in IE 5+, Safari, Mozilla, Chrome and other popular browsers.
