Description
Hello,I am in need of a worker (or workers) to help complete many web development tasks that I cannot finish fast enough for my customers. Everything will be written in PHP/XHTML and will use mySQL databases (if required). Strong skills in those areas are a must and skills in other areas, such as Javascript, web design, and SEO techniques, would also be very helpful. Some sites will use PostNuke CMS for the base code, so being familiar with PostNuke would also be helpful, but any skilled PHP programmer should have no problem working with PostNuke anyhow. I can guarantee at least 20 hours of work right away to the right person(s) and should be able to provide many more hours afterwards if everything goes well.
Examples of current work needed:
1) Approx. 80 pages of simple XHTML page updates, some of which will need to be created from scratch. Most of these are just grammar changes and possibly updating old HTML code to XHTML-compliant code, but some pages need minor design changes or new pages from scratch. Required changes and additions will be provided in a Microsoft Word document.
2) Page layout changes and custom site templates/modifications needed.
3) Modify existing PHP/mySQL/PostNuke module to allow multiple sheets and multiple files to be attached to a "work request form". The work request form has already been created and is functional, but the customer needs extra functionality that requires a new database table (to hold multiple sheets) and a simple file upload system that will allow multiple files to be attached to each sheet. The current form already contains the information needed for one sheet, so this will need to be modified to work as described above.
These are just the beginning and most critical tasks that need to be completed, I can think of several more tasks/projects on the top of my head that need to be completed as soon as the above is finished. My budget is very limited right now, so somewhere in the $10-15 per hour range is the most I would be able to pay to start. If things go well and everyone is happy, then I will have no problems increasing the pay in the future.
