Hello,

I need to create a penny auction website. (see madbid.com or redbread.co.uk). If you dont know what a Penny Auction site is, DONT BID!

Here are some specifics:

General Informations
• Euro currency
• Site will be in Engish, and limited to only UK and Ireland visitors. (Anyone can view the site, but only people from these countries can join).
• The company will provide technical support until the site is proven and I have learnt how to use the backend properly.
• I need a long partnership with this company in terms of security, upgrading and others projects.
• I NEED A COMPANY WITH REFERENCES. Just your feedback here on GAF is not sufficient.
• Project must be completed and tested before any payment is to be made.

FRONT END:
• An autobidder option should be present.
• The bid could be done manually or automatically
• Paypal only payment gateway.
• New Customer receives X bids for free when registered
• Customer receives X bids for free when he buys first bidding package
• "Refer a friend" - customer receives X bids for free when friend buys his first bidding package
• Product categories
• Ended Auctions
• Testimonials
• Recent Winners section
• Set intervals for product. lets say we set it to start at 8am and it finish about 11pm every day and its start continuing at 6am the next day till the auction finishes. (I need this feature when I create a auction on the admin panel).
• When I create a product it should ask me what time you want the product to start, what time you want the interval and want time you want to carry on).
• My account area
• site must contain real time countdown clock
• I want (2min, 1.5min, 1min, 43sec, 30, 15sec(timer). This should be reset back to start with every bid. If more than one bid is placed at a time, then the timer should add the extra bid's time to the timer as well.
• Automated bidding: Customers will be able to use an ‘autobid’ function to enable the system to bid on their behalf within set parameters (ie. max number of bids prepared to make on a product). The site must account for all automated bids before closing an auction and declaring a winner. User can enter in a specific amount of bids that they want to use and it will bid for them until either they have won the auction or they have ran out of bid to use). I will explain this further once you are selected for the project.
• A "reminder" option to send an email to a customer who has asked to be reminded about the start time of a particular auction. (At least 5-10 minutes before the start of auction). If you are able to incorporate an SMS reminder as well, even better.
• All the bidders of a product will be mailed when a bid is ended, with product prices etc.
• Form Spam Protection, such as the CAPTCHA spam protection on forms that need to be filled during the registration process.
• Automatic email to be sent to winning bidder reminding them of the price of winning bid and payment instructions.


MY ACCOUNT AREA (For customers)
* includes watchlist that user has shown interested but has not currently bidded on,
* currently bidding list that shows current situation of items user has bidded on
* bidding history that displays all successful and failed auctions
* referral area that lets user send off emails to friends
* Ability for members to login, update their account with basic details (picture, name, adress, ...),

BACK END / ADMIN SECTION
• Limit the winning of certain users.
• Complete statistics, page viewed, number of clicks, time on page etc.
• Control every aspect of the website, settings, users, auctions, bids and billing.
• Mail management section
• full featured billing and reports
• A CMS for uploading new items and updating static pages.
• admin has ability to see which winners have paid for items.
• admin has ability to see who wins auction / connected
• Section where I can see money earned by article
• backend must have efficient accounting systems to keep track of pending and completed auctions including
• Ability to define delivery fee
• Ability to define Auctions without automatic bids
• Admin allowed to give out free bids to members

More detailed tweaks as the project progresses. I do not have a domain or logo yet, but will have that before the job is completed.

Will need to test out the website in totality before complete payment is made.
