Description:	Hello, I am wondering how much it would cost to develop a system to save x,y coords from a flash movie to a sql database, then from an html link retrieve those coords and move an object on a flash move to those coords. This would be for a vacation rental site i run, I would like to have maps of each location ( which i can create ) and when an owner adds thier property they would see the map and a push pin that they could move around and place on the location of thier rental. those x,y coords would be saved along with other information about the home ( gathered through php pages i already have ) and saved to an sql database. Now when potential renters are browsing these homes i would like a button (standard html) that when clicked would map those x,y coords and show the pushpin at that location. The thing is this all needs to be dynamic, because the site will have serveal hundred and even thousands of rentals. The flash map i think would have to have two layers the bottom being the map itself which needs to serve two functions, for the owners when they set the coords and for the renters when they want to see the map and see where the rental is. Its too much work to create two maps for each location, one for owners and one for renters. I dont totally know how it all would work so i may be wrong. i have attached a sample map of greece with the drag function to give you an idea of what im after for the owners, for the renters it would only be the map and once the html link was clicked it would tell the tack to move to the sql saved coords. I have found tutorials on how to write info from flash to sql and i already know how to go to frames in flash using html links but i dont know how to put it all together to make the map thing work. I had also thought of a few other functions but dont know if they will all work and may be to complex, one being a show all country's rentals, which would query the database where country was greece and then get all the coords for greece and plot them all on the map with the pushpin, this could be a show/hide option for users. and the other is pretty complex, something like a distance search using the map and flash, they could click distance search for example and a cicrle would appear they they could move around the map and also resize the circle, then all coords within the circle would be returned and then the php page that normally showed all greece rentals would only show those that were within the circle, so that query may be something like where country = greece and coords = all the coords with the circle which that part would have to be created inside flash if it is possible??? Ok well here is what i am looking for. I hope i have exlained it well and if you have any questions please let me know. Just to be sure i only need the code to make this all work, i would be creating all the maps. I would need help creating the php html links to call the tack and move it within flash as well. Also the sooner the better for me on this as i am ready to move on this asap. Additional files submitted: map_1.swf
