Description

What I need done:
I need a drupal module to enable an administrator of a social network to post alert boxes to member profile pages. The alert box shall appear on all member profiles and can be closed by each member. Here is an example box: http://roshanbh.com.np/examples/alert-box/ (the flashing is not required). A little admin interface allows to insert a text and let you publish or later edit a message. A message archive is desirable a delete function, so that a posted message disappear on all member profiles, is necessary.

What I already have:
I have a full function drupal website (5.10) with the advanced profile and nodeprofile module. There are different panels in my member profile. Every member is redirected to his profile after log in.

Further requirements:
The alert box shall be on top of the page ideally not overlapping content. Desirable it should work with the usual jquery version of drupal5-10. A jquery solution is not a prerequisite. It should be a lightweight solution.
