Description

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for something REALLY simple. I just don't have the time or energy to locate the file for this so I was hoping someone could lend me a hand.

I have a Drupal website up and running.

I want Google maps API integration into my website's blogs. Each blog listing already has a unique address tied to it. The website database contains the addresses, and these addresses are printed on the blogs. So really all you need to do is find the PHP variable that displays the addresses, and use it for the Google Maps API.

I want the address plotted on the map. The Google maps should display directions if the user wants.

This should be very simple. If you want more projects, I might have some after this and I will pay you for each one.

Give me your best bids! Thanks :)

Hi there, this should be straight forward. The kicker will be how your addresses are formatted... the devil is always in the detail. Hitting teh GMap Geocoder is no problem, bt you'll run into limits of geocoding on the free google license linked to the normal api. It might be worth running the addresses through the geocoder via a python (or whatever) script then hold the lat long in your db, will also be significantly faster response too. Have fun! Will
