Project: Data management and aggregation system for php site

Description: Build four front-end php pages that match the look and feel of my existing site, and which draw data from a database and dynamically display it on a page based on a URL query string parameter. There are approximately 100-200 data fields to include.

Also, build a tool to import the data from raw pipe delimited format in txt files into a mySQL database. There are approximately 24,000-48,000 records in the dataset.

Finally, the data needs to be searchable from a form integrated into the front-end page(s) and display matching results on a search results page.

Example to see another site is Yahoo Finance or marketwatch.com. You put in a stock symbol and get 4 pages of displayed data but our project won’t have as much data but will be displayed in similar format.

When end-user types in stock symbol, four different pages of data appears from financial ratios like P/E, shares outstanding, float, etc. on 1 page, then 2nd pages is income statement, 3rd page is balance sheet and 4th page is cash flow. So there are 4 pages for each stock symbol with 12,000 stock symbols (x 4 pages) = 48,000 pages.

Design your programming to make it easy for us to download from source (another server) on a weekly basis.

Must post on final work on several sites. Must provide instructions to next tech guy how to update financial data from the source site that has new updated data.

Must submit newly formed pages to search engines upon completion. Must have index each page to return back to original search function form on home page.

Add appropriate page title, title tags, meta tags, etc.

Verification that this is fully operational and working properly before full payment.
