Description
Build a user registration ‘site’ with the following HTML pages:A user registration page, all user entered information should be stored in the database. The registration form will consist of maybe 20 input items. All input fields should be validated, this could be numeric, alpha numeric, email address, telephone number etc. Some sections of the form will not be enabled depending on the user input of a certain field.
A manage account page, where the user can make changes to their registration profile. Changes are persisted in the db.
A forgotten password page, where the user can enter his email address. When the user press the submit button a stored procedure (SP) should be invoked. We will provide the SP.
Two login pages (we will explain this later) but each page will only contain a bit of text and a form where the user can enter username and password. No handling after that is required as we already have that part of the site built.
A few (max 5) simple information pages like, ‘home’ page, functionality, contact us, about us etc.
We want to use reCAPTCHA to prevent automated abuse of our site and ensure that only humans perform certain actions. http://recaptcha.net/whyrecaptcha.html
We will provide: The registration form fields, all the text, the database structure, SP’s and the logo. The bid should include graphics for the rest of the site in order to give it a professional look. It should match sites like http://www.skype.com and https://twitter.com/signup in terms of graphical layout and usability.
We will make minor changes during development.
The site should be built using the following technologies: Java or PHP, HTML, Graphics, Apache Tomcat, JavaScript, Oracle (Express Edition).
Deliverable: A working ‘site’ with the above functionality. We also need to be able to access the site remotely throughout development so that we can verify the progress. We need this delivered within 7 days.
