We are looking at a PHP-MySQL based website that can be used to sell / wholesale or rent multiple kinds of products having multiple attributes or options like colour, size, shape, add-ons, lead time of delivery, warranties, etc. etc. from multiple vendors with each vendor being able to handle his / her orders or requirements seperately. Features of selling/rentals/whole selling should be such that each can be enabled or disabled as and when required up to a single category & product level.

Please check out various sites of DVD/Movies rental and products selling website and suggest your approach/sketch of what you imagine.

We want someone who has a readymade kind of solution which requires least changes (the look and feel will be as per our requirements) to keep the price low. We do not have enoough to splurge.

A FEATURE RICH OFFLINE APPLICATION IS DESIREABLE FOR VENDORS AND SITE ADMINISTRATOR WHICH SYNCHRONIZES WITH SERVER AT REGULAR INTERVALS AND KEEPS UPDATED DATA.

for example : Imagine a site that rents out DVDs from multiple suppliers. All suppliers closest to the buyer ZIP/PIN or within the same ZIP/PIN see the requirement and approach the prospect. Once a supplier closes the order, he shall deliver the desired item on fixed schedule. More than 1 supplier (say-- up to 3) can close the order and the 2nd one shall be eligible if the 1st one does not update the order as shipped on the stipulated time. The site administrator shall bind the suppliers on many aspects such the shipping date $ time etc.
