Description
Here is what I needWhat I need is a site that updates the people who register. The site will need to update the client through a TEXT MESSAGE to their cellphone.
Here is why:
ALOT of artist post events or show listings on myspace.com. I want my registered customers to be able to take the url of the artist on myspace submit it to the site. Then somehow SCAN the artist's site and get the show listings.
For explain:
1. I register for the Site
2. I want to add artist Chris Tomlin to the database
3. I find Chris Tomlins myspace page
4. Copy the URL and paste it into this scanner
5. It scans the page and finds a certain table name (showlistings)
6. Each day the scanner scans the site and records the new information
The registered user will need an update by text message when the certain table has new information in it. So its basically updating the register user when the artist has a new show.
