VoIP Provider Website

Overview

We have a Flash website template that must be customized. The purpose of the webpage is to advertise and inform potential clients of the services we offer. We’re looking for a young, warm and friendly Caribbean feel, yet professional look. It has to have a “local feel, but global appeal”. Clearly defined site navigation is a must.

Homepage must get straight to the point without overloading the user with too much information. We like Vonage.com and Vonage.ca as examples.

Specifics

We are looking for a website look and template that can be easily maintained (page deletions, insertions, adding content, etc). We would also like to have more variety in the images of people shown on the website to reflect a more international client base i.e. persons of various ethnicity, race, color. Once again, we’re aiming for “a local feel but a global appeal” for the website. All artwork must be submitted in original customizable form (ex: .png etc…).

• The top left should contain the “Provider’s” logo and a Sign In on the right (for right now just the interface screen).
o Horizontal nav- bar with site links.
o Links on the left (residential, business….) and on the right, room for service adds that rollover when you roll your mouse over the left hand links. (much like Vonage.ca site)
o The bottom part of the page should be reserved for new product adds.
o Page footer must have terms of service, privacy policy, and payment methods accepted.

o A left hand set of links that can expand.

Page build
The website will be regularly updated so this needs to be accomplished easily:
• The top header and the nav-bar should be a separate piece that’s called on every page.
• It’s very important to separate the style from the structure; a comprehensive CSS sheet is a must.
• Simple straight lines, light main color with modern highlight colors. It should portray a respectful, Caribbean-friendly, yet modern look.
• Links should use actual words with background images as opposed to just images to facilitate updating

We want to separate template customization from programming (which can be at a later time).
