Description:	Overview 1. Program and Design an open IT Architecture (developed completely by OOPs (Object Oriented Programming) high levels of adaptability, cross browser compatible, classified ads web site. The site will be a partial clone of http://www.olx.com and www.kijiji.com with the ability to expand into a community social site in the future as membership increase. The site will use Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax). 2. Note: Suggestions of Framework (ZEND with Abode Air Flex) LAMP platform (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP) Asp.net 3.5 (LINQ Framework & C#) Lazlo is also at the top on my list as most of these RIA features are included with the site. Developer can choose from PHP or ASP.NET (PHP Preferred due to scalability) (ASP.NET recommended due to stability with large amount of users) Lazlo Systems integration might be needed and is highly recommended to achieve the RIA Web result. Be prepared to discuss Laszlo Systems Framework integration or Adobe Air if it will achieve the same results Key Point of Focus Scalability: Site must have the ability to expand, to support 4.2 million users without impacting performance. This must be guaranteed so build with a large scale user base in mind. The site should be grow with ease base in respects to the number of users, number of sub-admin, languages, sub domain, installation (cities equivalent) and region. Security: Site security is must in order to protect the users and their personal information. Human interface verification tools should be use when ever any communication or personal information is going to be passed on the site. Database must be SQL-injection free. (Security test and reports will be performed prior to accepting the site) Usability: Usability is the key for the site to generate interests and keep users coming back. The design, the navigation structure and the information architecture must all be visually balanced. Meta tag and keyword integration must be use through out the site to allow users and administrator the capability to advertise the site and its products. Agility: The complete site must be development based on Object Oriented Programming making it easy to add new features and functional elements in the site. (Think, think, think, myspace.com classifieds or facebook.com classifieds. The site will incorporate a complete developer’s document provided by you and the programming will adhere to the ethical coding style thus making it possible for any developer to work on this and introduce new features in the future. Adherence to standards: Site must be developed in adherence to web standards so that it can be integrated to various systems without difficulties. It will follow XHTML, CSS standards and should have an XML standard based design so it’s easy to integrate with various web 3.0 tools. (Yes I said web 3.0) The source code should be open in all aspect and given at the end of the project. Think accessibility, thing 501c standards etc. (Testing will be conducted prior to acceptance of the site) More to follow:
