Description
Complete website:Stock market trading tournament
When people arrive they can choose to participate to a trading tournament:
dayly tournament
weekly tournament
monthly tournament
Each tournament behaves a little bit like a world soccer cup:
competitors are randomly grouped by group of 6 (or more depending on the number of competitors)
then only the best 4 of each group survive and go on with the competition
competitors are grouped by group of 4 (the best of the previous group compete with the least)
then only the best 2 of each group survive and go on with the competition
competitors are grouped by group of 2 (the best of the previous group compete with the least)
..so on until there is only one
What is a trading tournament?
Competitors need to make live buy and sell operations on stocks or indices. (buy and sell shares)
The competitors who make the most money during the chosen time frame qualify for the next round.
IMPORTANT NOTE
buy and sell operations are made by clicking on a live chart of a stock market index (like dow jone or nasdaq or cac40)
BUT THIS WILL be a separate module/bid
Your job if you accept it will be to make the script and design.
- registration..
- selection of tournaments
- scripting tournaments rounds: selectinng winners according to the virtual money they made and grouping them until the end.
- Keeping score hsitory for each member
- design: the site should have a web2 look and feel and have a series of avatars for the competitor to choose from (3d style) with an "aggressive touch" (monsters, sport players, etc.)
