Description: I’ve Installed Aurigma image uploader, and am utilising the concurrent upload application.

I want it modified so that the uploaded images are scaled to the desired maximum dimensions (if necessary), keeping the same aspect ratio and orientation.

Then to add the appropriate watermark (Portrait or Landscape), which has already been created and are available now for the project.

I’ve read that ImageMagick has slightly better performance, but do not have a problem if the solution can be proven to work using GD.

Final Full sized images (majority):
Portrait 600px by 400px
Landscape 400px by 600px

The majority of images will already be in this size, but scaling will be required if they’re not:

Portrait
E.g. If an image is in a Portrait orientation and measures 1200 x 800, it should be scaled down to 600 x 400. Smaller dimension images should stay as they are.
Or, if the image is not in this 3:2 aspect ratio, it should be scaled so that its maximum height is 600, or it maximum width is 400. Smaller dimension images should stay as they are.

Landscape
If an image is in a Landscape orientation and measures 800 x 1200, it should be scaled down to 400 x 600. Smaller dimension images should stay as they are.
If the image is not in this 2:3 aspect ratio, it should be scaled so that its maximum height is 400, or it maximum width is 600. Smaller dimension images should stay as they are.

I have installed the basic application which is working fine. I am happy with the thumbnails and Want them to stay as they are (non watermarked).

This should be relatively straight forward for an ImageMagick or GD pro.

Recent bad experiences have necessitated that it is Essential that I have frequent clear communication – simple twice daily status report (bullet pointed list) will suffice.

My normal terms of 50% payment into escrow upon acceptance of the project, and final 50% upon completion.
